IS isolators and signal SPDs for Yokogawa DCS – Nhon Trach 3 & 4 power plant
Scope
In 2024 VTL supplied MTL5500 isolators and Eaton MTL surge protectors to protect control signals in the Yokogawa DCS at Nhon Trach 3 & 4 – Vietnam's first LNG-to-power plant.
- MTL5500 intrinsically safe isolators: compact DIN-rail modules, single and multi-channel, 3-port isolation, low power dissipation, ATEX & IECEx approved.
- SD range – panel-mounted surge protectors for transmitter loops: 4–20 mA (2/3-wire), suitable for hazardous areas (Ex), Imax up to 20 kA (8/20 µs).
