Overview
The MTL SD series protects signal and data lines in industrial control, process automation and communication networks. A slim 7 mm design, multi-stage hybrid circuitry and 20 kA surge capability make it suitable for harsh and hazardous areas.
Main ranges
- SDX (SD07X, SD16X, SD32X, SD55X) – 2- and 3-wire hybrid protection with fuse/disconnect, for 4–20 mA loops, ESD systems, gas and fire detectors
- SD – standard models with screen earth terminal
- SDR – high-bandwidth versions for RS232/422/485 and bus systems, classified as simple apparatus
- SD32T3 – 3-terminal protection for externally powered 3-wire transmitters
- SDRTD – for 3-wire RTD temperature sensors
