Surge protection upgrade for gas stations – PV GAS Services
Scope
In 2021 VTL supplied Eaton MTL surge protectors for control signals to upgrade lightning protection at gas and valve stations: Ho Chi Minh City area, South East gas, Dong Nai, GDC Phu My, Tien Hai and Ham Rong (Thai Binh).
- SD range – panel-mounted surge protectors for transmitter loops: 4–20 mA (2/3-wire), suitable for hazardous areas (Ex), Imax up to 20 kA (8/20 µs).
- TP range – field-mounted protectors fitted directly to transmitters: 4–20 mA (2/3/4-wire), Ex areas, Imax up to 20 kA (8/20 µs).
