MTL5500 isolators and SPDs for Yokogawa DCS – Thi Vai LNG terminal
Scope
In 2022, for the Thi Vai Truckloading project, VTL supplied MTL5500 intrinsically safe isolators and surge protectors to protect signals in the Yokogawa DCS.
- MTL5500 intrinsically safe isolators: compact DIN-rail modules, single and multi-channel, 3-port isolation, low power dissipation, ATEX & IECEx approved.
- SD range – panel-mounted surge protectors for transmitter loops: 4–20 mA (2/3-wire), suitable for hazardous areas (Ex), Imax up to 20 kA (8/20 µs).
