Capri ADE-5F - Gland for armored cable with anti-rotation clamp
The Capri ADE-5F is a widely approved gland for use in hazardous areas with a focus on braided cable and cold flow protection.
Suitable for IEC and NEC installations and with many cable types the Capri ADE-5F offers a range of materials and thread options to cover all requirements.
It features a unique anti-rotation clamping cage to avoid braided cable damage. Available as gland only or in pre-packed kit form for ease of ordering. Refer to our ADE Gland Accessories for further matching accessories.

The patented “Cage System” from Capri is a unique design allowing the use of all armour shield types and thickness without the need to select the correct internal components or orientation.
Interlocking system for visual inspection of the armour clamping and a safe armour contact.
Fitted Dust Cover
An easily removable integral dust cover ensures protection against dust/water entry prior to cable assembly and without an additional plug. Protecting the electrical equipment during transportation and delivery until the cable is ready to be fitted.

How to install Eaton Capri ADE-5F cable gland with armoured cable
Functions of the Capri ADE-5F cable gland
1. Specifically formulated elastomer for flame path sealing on inner sheath of cable.
4. (Optional) Suitable for lead sheath cable with installation of simple washer.
2. Additional deluge seal available for ADE-5F gland sizes No. 12 to No. 17
5. Specifically formulated elastomer for IP sealing on the outer sheath of the cable.
3. Anti-rotation feature providing simplified inspectability of armour clamping and grounding system.
6. (Optional) Additional external cable clamping for strain relief.
